4 Tips on a Good Diabetic Care Diet!

Are you a diabetic? Have a friend or family who suffer from diabetes? Well, the first thing you should be caring for is their diet – which becomes one of the main sources, for healthy or worsening cases in the case of diabetic people.

Here are 4 easy tips to keep diabetes off your roster for a while!

Diabetic care1. Avoid heavy meals and get at least 5-6 intermittent meals of small dividends. This will help you avoid feeling hungry in between meals, and will also help keep the junk food or other such dessert-oriented stuff away from your regular diet.

2. Sugar levels need to be controlled. This means that you can have NO Desserts. Cakes, pastries or sweets will be the end of you – and we are not even trying to cloak that rude truth. Get rid of any plans of having desserts for a year now!

3. Alcohol (and smoking, for that matter) needs to stop. They increase diabetes related complications, including nerve and lung damage or heart attacks.

4. Replenish the kind of diet you had of red meat and sugar-coated bakery with whole cereals and fresh fruit as well as green leafy vegetables.

Follow these 4 golden rules of a diabetic diet and you will be off the insulin within a couple of years or even less. Good luck!
